(this language is to be used in the Procedures section of the consent form) (If any radiographic procedures are being used) The radiation from x-rays and scans may be harmful to a fetus. If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a pregnancy test done before your x-rays and/or scans. If you are pregnant, you may not take part in this study. If you will be sexually active, you must use a method to prevent pregnancy during this study. This applies to men and women. (Grade 6.3) (If radionuclides are being used) The radiation from Cr-51 or In-111 may be harmful to a fetus. If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you must have a pregnancy test done before your transfusions. If you are pregnant, you may not take part in this study. If you will be sexually active, you must use a method to prevent pregnancy during this study. This applies to men and women. (Grade 7.0)
