The goal of the Center for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation (CMCR) is to develop new techniques and technologies to mitigate the effects of radiation exposure. The FHCRC and UW CMCR builds on strengths at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington in pre-clinical research, radiation biology, transplant biology, biomedical engineering, proteomics, and genomics to accomplish this goal. |
