The specific aims of the Administrative Core staff are as follows:
- To coordinate the activities and interactions of the Projects and Cores through regular scheduled meetings, seminars, and correspondence.
- To review utilization of funds and suggest cost-efficient use and possible savings to insure the best utilization.
- To provide oversight, support, and advice to the Director and Co-Director by monitoring and reporting the activities of the Center.
- To support the interaction and collaboration with the CMCR, the NIH, and the scientific community to develop relevant goals for the CMCR within the Center.
- Administer the Pilot Project Core and the Educational Core
- To promote the use of the core facilities among researchers with the FHCRC and UW and other institutions using multiple mechanisms including brochures, websites, and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal guidelines involving all investigators in the CMCR.
