WELCOME

Welcome to the Graduate Program in Construction Management at the University of Washington.  As the Graduate Program Coordinator I am responsible for the overall administration of this program within the Department of Construction Management.

Our graduate program has much to offer to those interested in the exciting world of construction.  As a Master or Ph.D. student you will have the opportunity to interact with a distinguished faculty with ample knowledge of the industry acquired through years of field experience and academic studies.  You will also participate in the advancement of knowledge in construction engineering and management and the solution of some of the most pressing problems that our industry faces today by doing research in a variety of subjects.

Our relationship with the vibrant construction industry in the Pacific Northwest is very close and industry experts are fully engaged with the program as guest speakers, jury members, professional project sponsors, research partners, and in a variety of other capacities.  Our students are outstanding and bring a plethora of experiences to classroom and research activities.  You will have the opportunity to interact with classmates from all backgrounds, nationalities, and work experiences.

I invite you to explore this site and discover why the University of Washington's Graduate Program in Construction Management is considered one of the best in the nation.
