Center for Conservation Biology’s Wasser receives top environmental science award

The “conservation canines” of the Center for Conservation Biology – and their director, Dr. Samuel Wasser – have been awarded the “Outstanding Achievement in Environmental Technology and Innovation Award” from the Alberta Science and Technology Leadership Foundation for their work to understand the threats to Alberta’s endangered caribou. This is the top environmental award for the entire province of Alberta. Congratulations!
