Career Goals: I see myself in the following careers: counselor, mediator, acitivist, social change agent. I could see myself working with families, being a social worker.

Where I live: I live in Sembel residence. I have lived there for 7 years. It is peaceful, consisting cooperative niegbours and full of love. There is no much traffic It is 7 kilometers to the University where I study.

Where I grew up: I grew up in a small village called Adi Mengonti.Life was enjoyable and simple. I love my gramdmother (my mother's mothers) she was very kind. She and her husband were living in near by village. I used to spend a nice time with them every weekend and summer. My grand father was hunting wild birds and offer me a delicouse meat. As soon as I met them he start to extract his bees and give me fresh honey. I have studied my elementary school in my
village.

Secondary school and high school(10th grade) in a small town Mendefera and in Asmara. But unfortunately I couldn't continue my study,becouse I was so influenced by the current political issue. There was a struggle againest the Ethiopian colony for independence. In Murch 1976 I joined the struggle
for independence when I was 15 years old. I have been in the front line fighting with the enemy and participated different battles. I am also injiured my both legs. After my injury I was assigned in different depertments as typist, personnel, archieve and social worker in social affiars department.

Finally I am very lucky I have seen our mission succeded and being able to join the University after being saparated from school for more than 20 years. I have taken social work one year certificate course and got the chance to contunue for my senior study on sociology and social work.

My family: My families are from the same ethnik group and religion. I have 12 brothers and sisters. except two all are younger than me. My mother is died. My father has constructed another family. Three of my brothers and sisters are from the new family. Now, inaddition to my family of origin and acquired stepfamily I have a daughter, and an ex-husband.

Outside Interests: I enjoy spending time in a natural environment. I love to travel, to Massawa beach. I love spending time with my parents, relatives and friends in remote areas. I enjoy dancing. I like cooperating with individuals in need. I like to listen them atentively.

How do I see myself contributing to society?
I know I have a great deal to offer and exploit my experience that I have gained it during the struggle( I have been working with people for many years). I care about my people's freedom, health,social justice and stability. I see my contribution as ,as a teacher, broker,an activist . Now concerning my field I am committed to making a postitive impact specially on my people in need and the world at large on the rest of my life.
