Hi! My name is Sarah Kaufmann-Fink and I am a junior at UW. I just had my 21st birthday! I am studying to work for an NGO or the UN in international humanitarian work. I am majoring in: international health and social services and
community and environmental planning

I really enjoy reading, both for my classes and reading novels and historical fiction when I can. I have taken ballet and jazz dance for over 10 years, and I also love to travel. At school my favorite classes are studying law, society and justice, and human rights.

I am now living very close to campus here in Seattle, Washington, but I grew up with my family in Columbus, Ohio which is very far away. It is in the middle of America which is called the “Midwest” even though Ohio is toward the East more. My parents and sister (18 years old) still live in Ohio.
I am very excited to learn more about refugee issues and agencies both in America and Eritrea!
