Career Goals:  My career goals are not quite formulated.  I see myself in many careers: counselor, mediator, therapsit, acitivist, teacher, social change agent.  I could see myself running a non-profit working with families, being a school counselor, working internationally as an advocate for social change, or as a transformational leader/teacher.

Where I live:  I live in a house in the woods in Bridle Trails on the Eastside.  I have lived here for 14 years.  It is peaceful, green, nurturing, and full of love.  I live in the Northwest where there is great beauty, and too much traffic.  I live in the USA.  I live on this planet we call Earth.

Where I grew up:
I grew up in a small town in Arkansas.  Life was slow and simple.  My grandparents lived near and I spent a great deal of time with my grandmother.  When I was 9 years old we moved to Milan, Italy.  My world expanded quite a bit at this time.  I loved in the city of Milan with my mother, sister, and brother for one year.  Then I moved to Houston, Texas and spent the rest of my childhood growing up there.

My family:  My ancestors came from Ireland and Germany.  I can speak of family in many ways.  Tracing my family lines has me feel connected way back in time, but what feels more like family to me begins with my great-grandparents.  After that it is my grandparnents, parents, sister, brother, step-parents, step-sisters, and step-brothers.  Now, in addition to my family of origin and acquired stepfamily I have a husband, a daughter, a son, and an ex-husband.  My close friends are also my family.  I also have the experience of family within my global society.

Outside Interests:  I enjoy spending  time in a natural environment.  I love to travel, especially in an educational or participatory way. I love spending time with children.  I enjoy yoga, dancing, being in my body.  I like being in deep, intimate conversations with people.  I like making beautiful, safe spaces for people to gather, heal, and expand.   I like to listen.

How do I see myself contributing to society?  I know I have a great deal to offer.  I care about social justice, health, freedom, and peace.  I see my contribution as an activist, as a teacher, and through my own deep evolution.  I am committed to making a postitive impact on the world during my time here.
