I am one of the few born and bred in seattle.

I am an international studies major with a focus on ethnicities and nationalities. I have also studied Nigeria fairly intensively for the past few years.

I am going on a road trip around the US this summer, and than I am going to work for 9 months, followed by a 4 month trip to europe. After that, I might start to think about graduate school.

Work. Just kidding. I really enjoy the outdoors and live by a park so I spend some time walking down to the beach. Anytime we are on a break I motor through 4 books, I love reading and already have my reading list ready after I graduate. Also, a group of friends and I go out to a different bar every thursday night, I love beer, my family raised me to be a beer snob, so a pint (yes just a pint, I still have class!) of a northwest microbrew on a thursday is the perfect end to my week!

I am sarcastic and I love to laugh.

I am the youngest of 6 children.

I have done a lot of work with theory and transnational identity. I was realy excited to take a course that offered me a chance to put the theory to use. A lot of international studies classes expose many problems talked about in the theoretical realm, this class is giving me the opportunity to talk about these issues through activism.

Working with the community and putting what I have learned to use!

Offending someone I am working with, or unknowingly making them uncomfortable.
