Second Year Students Win End-of-Year Awards

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, Computational Finance and Risk Management (CFRM) students, faculty and staff attended the CFRM Awards Dinner, in celebration of second year students nearing graduation.

The second annual event, hosted by Director Tim Leung, recognized campus students who have excelled in many areas during their time in the graduate degree program. Students were presented with a certificate and received a monetary award.

Award Categories & Recipients, 2018

Professional Excellence Award: The award is presented to a CFRM student who has shown exceptional potential and commitment to being a capable and ethical finance professional.
Recipients: Nathan Barnard, Sunayna Rangarajan

Outstanding Woman in Finance: The award is presented to a female CFRM student who has shown outstanding academic performance and great professional promise.
Recipient: Ningning Wang

Academic Achievement: The award is presented to a CFRM student who has shown excellent academic performance, and ​consistent participation in CFRM academic and extracurricular activities
Recipient: Aaron Payne

Peer Leadership: The award is presented to a CFRM student who has shown themselves to be a leader in the 2017-18 cohort, who is dependable, helpful, and the ideal CFRM student.
Recipient: Xingkai Liu
