General Compliance Training (CMS)

General Compliance training, as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), explains the core parts of a compliance program, individual responsibilities, and how to report a compliance-related concern. Many of the principles covered in this training are found in the UW Medicine Compliance program policies. By completing this training, individuals are able to:

  • Recognize how a compliance program operates
  • Recognize how compliance violations should be reported

Who/Audience: UW Medicine (including the UW School of Medicine) employees and trainees who are involved in the provision of treatment and diagnostic services for Medicare enrollees and all related business and administrative functions; and its governing bodies. When: Upon hire and annually thereafter

Delivery Method: Auto-assigned through the UW Medicine LMS (Learning Management System), VMC workforce access Percipio LMS via MyValley.

Training requires approximately 20 minutes to complete.
