For new orders:

• Cards will automatically be activated on date animals are received, and the barcoded activation strip located below the perforation will be removed BEFORE distribution.

For animal, protocol or budget transfers:

• The old barcoded cage card to be deactivated with the strip located above the perforation must be dated on the day of the transfer, removed and placed in the drop box inside the room.
• The new barcoded cage card to be activated with the strip located below the perforation is to be dated with the activation date (the day after the transfer), removed, and placed in the drop box inside the room.

To be used on weaning, separating, animal transfers, replacement cards, etc :
