  Animal Purchases  

To purchase new animals:

  1. Fill out the Animal Request / Order Form and email to Animal Purchasing. (Deadline is Tuesday at noon for the earliest delivery of Wednesday the following week)
  2. An email confirmation will be sent to you with your order number when the order is received. Please refer us this number if you have any questions, comments, concerns or changes about your order.
  3. After housing approval the order will be placed with the vendor.
  4. New cage cards will be printed by housing facility. Bottom activation strip will be removed by the facility and dated.
  5. Cage cards will be ready for the animals by the time they are delivered.
  6. If there are multiple cage cards in card holder the bar coded cage card must be on top. A fee will incur if barcoded cage card is not visible when weekly census is completed.

Note: If cage card or barcode is damaged, missing, or needs to be replaced you must request new cage cards or a fee will incur when weekly census is completed. See Cage Card Requests.
