| At the beginning date of the proposed training, an applicant
must have received a D.V.M. or equivalent degree. Graduates of foreign
veterinary schools must have eligibility certification from the AVMA education
commission for foreign veterinary graduates (ECFVG). Individuals to be
supported by the Department's NIH-sponsored training grant must be U.S.
citizens or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the
U.S. at the time of appointment. (Individuals on temporary or student visas
are not eligible for NIH support.) |
