Clinical Residency in Laboratory Animal Medicine
Application Procedure & Trainee Selection

Deadline for receipt of three letters of reference, and a completed application form with required documents (e.g., transcripts, statement of goals) is January 1 for the normal July 1 start date; however, positions may be filled prior to that time and therefore early applications are encouraged. Applications are reviewed by a selection committee composed of faculty members. Criteria for the selection includes an assessment of a potential student's academic interests and aptitude, clinical experience, research background and potential, scholarship, recommendations, and career goals.
