Who Does What:
- Catalyst...
- recruits and refers well qualified applicants, provides baseline training, acts as an advocate for techs.
- Seattle Public Schools...
- hires, fingerprints, handles paperwork, and issues paychecks.
- Each individual school...
- assigns a primary contact person for their Catalyst College Tech and turns in timecards to payroll once a month.
- You...
- always provide your school with an up to date schedule, show up for work when scheduled (or call if you absolutely can't make it), offer you very best technical support using what you know and your resources to learn more when you need to.

Survival Tips
Not that we think you are likely to fail, but at this point, we'd just to like offer a few pointers on being an outstanding tech:
- Communicate!! Communicate!! Communicate!! (Your school should ALWAYS have your schedule!)
- Take responsibility
- Troubleshoot well (hardware, software, and peopleware)
