Moments in Leadership Grand Rounds, February 2009

The Community-oriented Public Health Practice program, with the support of Pfizer, is hosting the Moments in Leadership Grand Rounds at the University of Washington.
Throughout 2009, there will be four grand rounds events held at the University of Washington. The first event took place in February, and the remaining events will tentatively be held in early May, early October, and early December. Free copies of the Pfizer book Moments in Leadership: Case studies in public health policy and practice are available at each event.

Our two guest speakers for the kick off event in February each spoke of their diverse experiences with leadership in public health practice and policy-making were Dr. Joyce Essien and King County Councilwoman Julia Patterson.
