The goal of the 2003 Health Disparities Symposium: Social Determinants: Methods and Practice is to expose faculty and students to research on health disparities and the social determinants of health. By familiarizing faculty and students with the opportunities and challenges inherent to social epidemiology, we hope to encourage more health scientists to pursue social epidemiology research.
The Social Epidemiology Working Group and the School of Public Health and Community Medicine are proud to present esteemed social epidemiologist John Lynch PhD, MPH, MEd, University of Michigan speaking on "Population Health and Health Disparities: The Role of Social Epidemiology" on May 6th at 3:30 PM in Hogness Auditorium.
