The Center for Research on Families was established at the University of Washington to promote innovative social
science research on the family and the behavior of individuals in families. The
Center hosts a distinguished speaker series and organizes focused workshops
intended to encourage discussion and research collaboration across disciplinary
boundaries. The CRF Newsletter highlights these programs organized by the
Center and also presents brief reports on research conducted by its faculty and
student affiliates.
