5th-6th Grade classes

Summer Challenge is a summer academic program for students finishing 5th or 6th grades.  Classes will meet from 9:00 – 2:20 Monday through Friday.  The dates for Summer Challenge 2010 are July 12-July 30th.

Students qualify for Summer Challenge classes by scoring in the 97th percentile or higher on a recent nationally normed standardized aptitude or achievement test.  Most students in Washington state use WASL scores from the previous Spring (next Summer’s students will be using the Spring 2009 test).  Qualifying scores will be available in late October.  Students attending private schools may submit scores from other standardized tests administered through their school showing a score of the 97th percentile or above.
