Application for Summer Challenge will begin Monday, February 6, 2012 at 8 am for eligible students.
To better serve our students and their parents, payment is administered through UW Educational Outreach. The initial online application is sent directly to the Robinson Center staff to determine eligibility for our classes and, if requested, eligibility for financial assistance.
We then notify the parent that the student is ELIGIBLE to register within 10 working days of applying. We will send you an email regarding acceptance into the program.
The last step is to submit payment to Educational Outreach. Payment is required upon registration. Your child is not fully enrolled until payment has been received.
How to Apply
A complete application consists of:
1. Qualifying test scores, participation in a nationally recognized talent search, or placement in a recognized gifted school program. Please include this information in your online application. You may also email test scores to email hidden; JavaScript is required or fax them to (206) 685-3890.
If you participated in Challenge last year, you may write “returning student” instead of entering your test scores, since returning students do not need to re-submit scores.

Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come first-served basis. Complete applications are processed first.
Financial Assistance
A limited amount of need-based financial assistance is available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. For all financial assistance recipients: a copy of your most recent tax return (either 2010 or 2011) is required and must be submitted to our office by May 14, 2012.
