Apply
The Summer Stretch online application will be available Monday, March 4, 2013 at 8 am for all qualified applicants.
To apply for financial assistance, please submit your online application and documentation at the same time as you apply for acceptance into the program.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE APRIL 13 ACT OR THE MAY 4 OR JUNE 1 SAT, WE WILL ACCEPT YOUR APPLICATION AND, IF THERE IS ROOM, PROVISIONALLY PLACE YOU IN A CLASS. YOU WILL NEED TO PAY THE NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE AND TUITION. WHEN WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR TEST SCORES WE WILL DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY; IF YOU DO NOT QUALIFY, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PLACE IN THE CLASS AND RECEIVE A TUITION REFUND.
Registration and Fee Processing
After Robinson Center staff review the online application and documentation, we determine your eligibility for our classes and, if requested, eligibility for financial assistance.
We then notify the parent by email regarding the applicant’s acceptance into the program and class placement.
The last step is to submit payment through the online payment gateway. Payment is required upon registration. Your child is not fully enrolled until payment has been received.
How to Apply
A complete application consists of:
1. The online application (will not work until 8 am, Monday, March 4, 2013).
2. Proof of eligibility.
a. Qualifying ACT or SAT scores
ACT or SAT scores should be sent through the national testing organization to code 9899. Please also include your test scores in your online application.
You will be asked for your high school code when registering for the test. If you are not in high school, you may use the homeschool code 969999 for the ACT and no high school code 000003 for the SAT.
If you are a returning Stretch student and you would like to take the same discipline this year, you do not need to re-submit your scores. If you would like to switch, from math to literature for example, and you did not have the qualifying scores for that discipline last year, you will need to re-take the test.
b. Teacher recommendation for fast-paced math
If you would like to take one of our fast-paced math classes (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, or Precalculus), a teacher recommendation is required.
3. Wait for Robinson Center staff to determine your eligibility for our classes and, if requested, eligibility for financial assistance. Applications submitted without test scores are incomplete.
4. The last step is to submit payment. You will receive payment instructions in your confirmation email.
Applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come first-served basis. Complete applications are processed first.
Registration closes May 31, 2013.
