Course Fee and Financial Assistance
Summer Stretch 2013 tuition is $900. Some classes have an additional $75 fee for Materials & Excursions and there is a non-refundable $40 registration fee.
A limited amount of need-based financial assistance is available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. The registration fee is waived for applicants who apply for financial assistance and are on free/reduced lunch. Families apply for assistance at the same time as they apply for acceptance into the program.
Scholarships
The Washington Association of Educators of the Talented and Gifted grants scholarships to students wishing to attend summer university programs. More information is available on their website.
The Assistance League of Seattle offers extracurricular Enrichment Scholarships to students who are currently enrolled in grades 6 through 11 in Seattle Public Schools (including home schooled students with public school affiliation). More information is available on their website.
The Ruth Roy Scholarship allows post fifth-to-seventh grade students to pursue academic or intellectual interests. Students must be enrolled in the Issaquah School District.
