Who Can Apply?
Program Overview
Summer Stretch is a summer academic program for students finishing 7th, 8th, or 9th grade (qualified students currently in 10th grade may be admitted to Fast-Paced Math, Biology, or Chemistry). Classes will meet from 9:00am – 2:20pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday every week. Note: some classes have final exams on the last Friday morning of the session.
All Summer Stretch classes are designed for academically advanced middle and high school students, and offer an opportunity for vigorous academic challenge in the company of other capable students.
Students who wish to apply to Summer Stretch must take a college entrance exam: either the ACT or SAT. When registering for either test, please use the HIGH SCHOOL CODE 481174 or the College Code 9899 to insure that your scores are sent to the Robinson Center. Please do not use the regular UW code.
