What is Summer Challenge?
Summer Challenge is an academically advanced summer program for children who will have completed the 5th or 6th grade. Summer Challenge provides motivated students with an intensive, hands-on, fun, and educational experience in areas outside of the traditional school curriculum.
The Challenge 2024 program begins on July 8th and ends on July 26th. The program runs for three weeks, five days a week from 9:00 AM to 2:20 PM. Classes are held in person at the University of Washington Seattle campus. Classes are small and instructors are all specialists in their field. There are no tests, students are not graded, and there is little homework; it’s all about delving deeply into a subject of interest.
Registration for Challenge 2024 will open on February 4th at 4pm.
