Pediatric Nutrition Teleconference

The annual pediatric nutrition teleconference, sponsored by the University of Alabama, Birmingham, will be on Wed, June 4, 10:00am - 2:00pm Pacific Daylight time.

Pediatric Update: Assessment, Treatment and Environmental Factors
that Impact Childhood

Obesity Topics to be covered include:

• Assessment of overweight/obese child (Nancy Krebs, MD)
• Interventions/treatments that work (Holly Raynor, PhD, RD)
• Sleep and obesity (Chris Makris, MD)
• Food marketing to children (Margo Wooton, DSc)

There are currently 8 downlink sites in WA – check the WA-PNPG website for location and facilitator. You need to register as space is limited.

There is no charge for WA-PNPG members; for non-members the cost is $15. Continuing education credits are available for RD’s and nurses.
