CSSCR Newsletter, Autumn 2019

From the Director

Academic Year 2019-20 is upon us—welcome to and welcome back to campus and Autumn Quarter!

This is our Autumn 2019 CSSCR announcement/newsletter. Below you will find our listing of workshops for the quarter. As always, registration is open and free to anyone in the UW community. Please let your colleagues, staff, and students know by sharing this newsletter. Individuals can subscribe to the newsletter here, and our newsletter archive is found here. We did change our address last year so insure you are pointed to — http://csscr.washington.edu/

If you plan on using the computer labs for the Autumn Quarter, or more importantly, for the coming Winter and Spring Quarters 2020 make your reservations now! We have limited space for Autumn and space for Winter is rapidly disappearing and Spring space begins to disappear sooner than one would think. You can verify your lab reservations and check for space availability on our online calendar. Give us a call (206-543-8110) or drop us an email at csscr@u.washington.edu. The labs can be reserved by faculty in our member departments. Students and student groups from our member departments are also welcomed to reserve the labs for workshops, experiments, group projects, and other academic events.

Above all enjoy the beginning of the new academic year and the new quarter… Fall is some of the best weather and times to be on campus!

–Best wishes,

Jerry Herting
