On Friday of Week 1, we discussed the origins of elves and men. Elves are immortal, while men are not. Iluvatar said that mortality was his gift to men. Write a paper (at least 3 pages, double-spaced), explaining why you think Iluvatar said mortality was a gift, and whether or not you agree. Cite at least 2 sources to support your thesis.
