Racial Legacies and Learning Project 

Project Summary Response to the AAC&U Organizing Question Project Staff

With funding from the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U), several Seattle area colleges that had participated in the Campus Diversity Initiative, sponsored by the Ford Foundation, organized a Seattle Campus Racial Legacies and Learning Coalition (RLLC). Participating campuses included: Antioch University, North Seattle Community College, Seattle Central Community College, Shoreline Community College, South Seattle Community College and the University of Washington. Shoreline Community College hosted the project as part of a major diversity outreach initiative associated with the opening of its new Multicultural/Diversity Education Center.
