  • Wall Thickening Left: Reconstructed subtraction surface of left ventricle in a patient with established coronary disease and a subtle lateral wall motion abnormality. Green and blue areas represent regions with reduced systolic wall thickening compared to a previous study. Here the abnormality is demonstrated to be more extensive than originally estimated with conventional 2-dimensional echo. This has important implications for planning revascularization and optimizing medical therapy.
