Dr. Spach is a clinician-teacher based at Harborview Medical Center. His primary clinical focus is in the area of HIV/AIDS. Dr. Spach is the Principle Investigator for the Northwest AIDS Education and Training Center and is actively involved in web-based education.

He is the co-editor for two federally-funded educational web sites:
