CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS


Dr. Limaye's research focus is on (1) potential association of hepatic iron overload with invasive fungal infections among liver transplant recipients, (2) Cidofovir for treatment of BK virus-associated nephropathy in kidney transplant recipients, and (3) fungal PCR for early diagnosis of invasive fungal infection in stem cell transplant recipients.
