Educational Consultation

Project DATA provides educational consultation to schools. Consultation services may take the form of: (1) Workshops (2) Educational Consults or (3) Ongoing Technical Assistance. (1) Workshops

Positive Behavioral Support
  • Addressing common challenging behavior in everyday classroom settings
  • Hands-on practice with Functional Behavior Assessment
  • Interactive discussion of real-life situations
Supporting Social Interaction
  • Practical strategies for teaching social skills
  • Key skills to target to enhance inclusion opportunities
  • How to run successful play-dates
Effective Instructional Strategies
  • Data-based, effective techniques for teaching a variety of skills
  • Interactive practice sessions to troubleshoot common challenges
Individualizing Programs
  • Selecting appropriate programs through linked assessment
  • Hands-on practice writing instructional programs with individual cases
Creating Parent Education and Support Programs
  • How to individualize curriculum to address home and family issues
  • How to conduct successful home visits to provide ongoing support
Autism Awareness
  • A wealth of information, including, research-based components of an effective program, curriculum content areas, and early signs of autism
  • Helpful resources include publications, websites, and local and national organizations
Data Collection and Data-Based Decision Making
  • Easy methods of recording data for teachers on the go
  • Organizing and understanding data
  • Using data to make programming decisions

 

 

(2) Educational Consults

Consultations addressing individual children in school programs, homes, and community settings are offered. Issues for consult may include:

• Functional behavior assessment of challenging behaviors

• Development of behavior intervention plan

• Development of positive behavior support plans

• Curriculum development

• Effective instructional strategies

• Implementation of social skills groups

Feedback is given based on the agency/school’s/parent’s preference. Reports are provided and a follow-up meeting is an option.

Leadership Training $2000.00
Full-Day Workshop: $1500.00
Half-Day Workshop: $1000.00
Mini Two-hour Workshop: $500.00
Educational Consult $200.00/hr
Supervision for BCBA $100.00/hr
Duplicating $0.045/copy
Mileage under 40 miles roundtrip $0.505/mile
Mileage over 40 miles roundtrip travel time of $100/hour will be billed in lieu of mileage
  • Airfare,Per diem & lodging charges apply if overnight stay required
