Residence Hall Move-In

Event Scheduled:
Thursday, 9/187:30 am - 6:00 pm

Location: North Campus: E-1 Parking Lot & South Campus: W-10 (south of Terry/Lander halls)

Check-in for students living in the Residence Halls begins on Thursday 9/18 and Friday 9/19 at 7:30am. Students moving into the residence halls will receive a letter with their assigned check-in time and date. DAWG volunteers will be ready and waiting to assist you in unloading your belongings and answering questions.

Getting Involved with UW's "The Daily"

The UW Daily invites you to learn about one of the top university, student-run newspapers in the country. A few of the notable alumni of this respected publication are 9 Pulitzer Prize winners, the 2007 National Book Award winner for fiction, and the President of the National Association of Black Journalists. Students are encouraged to learn how they can work in editorial, design, photography, advertising sales, or accounting and how to use "The Daily" as a public forum.

Come experience a Friday night at the IMA Building with roller skating, archery, rock climbing, and more. All is free, including equipment, to students with their Husky Card and "Dawg Pass." Roller-skating (Gym A) and archery (Archery Room) are available 7-9:30pm. The Indoor Climbing Center is open 4-9pm with staff on hand to provide pointers and help with equipment. The Climbing Center will be closed Friday evening.

Rally SPOTs will take place before: Quad Flicks, Comedy Show, Fun & Games at the IMA, Fall Fling, Academic Welcome Fairs, and One Bus Away tours. Capture the Flag
