This year, our long time campus food vendors, Coca Cola, Odwalla, Seattle Bagel, Tully's Coffee, Dreyer's Ice Cream, Darigold Farms, Essential Baking, Organic to Go, and Otis Spunkmeyer, will provide free food and beverage samples and great food on the first of days of school.

Here is your one-stop shopping for the easy and affordable decorating of your new residence hall room or apartment. Hundreds of images, from fine art prints and photographs to popular art, most within $10 to $25. The sale runs from Sunday, September 21 through Friday, October 3, 9am to 5pm (except for Saturday 9/27 and Sunday 9/28). Twenty percent of the proceeds goes towards the purchase of UW student art for the HUB's permanent collection.

Toastmasters - Communication and Leadership

Our meetings are learn-by-doing workshops where members work through self-paced speaking and leadership assignments, receiving positive feedback along the way. Beginner to Expert - our programs are an Inexpensive, Interactive, Convenient, Friendly and Supportive environment where millions have discovered the benefits of Toastmasters. Witness a real-live Toastmasters meeting; with inspiring speeches, some impromptu speaking and an all-round good-time. Toastmaster International is a non-profit organization founded in 1924 and is comprised of 11,000 clubs in 90 countries. It is held in high regard in business circles.

Your "Dawg Pass" permits you to participate in a variety of activities at the IMA Building for free this week. We will be offering group Hip Hop, Indoor Cycling, and Yoga classes on Monday, September 22, thru Thursday, September 25, from 5:30-6:30pm. Hip Hop classes will be held each day in IMA Studio 111, cycling classes in the Indoor Cycling Studio, and Yoga classes in Studio 216. Your UW Husky Card will get you into the IMA Building. Then show your "Dawg Pass" to take part in the fun. If you do not have your "Dawg Pass," there will be a $5.45 drop-in fee to participate.

Come join the ECC/T staff in kicking off the year with an evening of schmoozing and reconnecting. It is a great way to see old faces and meet new ones. The idea is for student groups affiliated with the ECC/T and incoming students to join the ECC/T staff in celebrating the beginning of another year with a student focused social. The Mixer primarily serves as a space for students to connect with staff and other students and provide the space for student leaders to promote the work of their organizations.
