Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) Seattle AreaSeattle Language Academy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote language learning among the residents of Puget Sound, and by extension to promote individual growth and the growth of understanding among the citizens of both the region and the world. SLA's wide range of language programs include:Day and evening classes for adults in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, French, German, Ancient and Modern Greek, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Private on-site and off-site language instruction for individuals, families, and company employees Before-school and after-school language programs for children in French, Spanish, and Japanese.
