Background and Description

Barbara Stilwell, PhD, FCRN, formerly working with the World Health Organization in human resources development, is now the director of technical leadership for IntraHealth, which is working on bringing open access to clinics in Africa. Stilwell headed a taskforce at WHO on the global workforce crisis and spoke Feb. 19 on the global workforce migration issues. She was introduced by Marla E. Salmon, the Robert G. and Jean A. Reid Endowed Dean in Nursing, and Barbara Burns McGrath, research associate professor, Department of Psychosocial and Community Health. A link to a video presentation is below.
