Student Organizations

Global Health Group
The Global Health Group, formerly the International Health Group (IHG), is a student-run interest group at the University of Washington that promotes long-term careers in the service of disadvantaged populations worldwide. They aim to accomplish this through educational activities and through the development of reciprocal international research and clinical opportunities with their overseas global health partners.

Rotaract
UWHS Rotaract is a service based  club at the University of Washington, Health Sciences and is sponsored by the University Sunrise Rotary club of District 5030. UWHS Rotaract is also a Registered Student Organization at the University of Washington. This club is open to both graduate and undergraduate students of all ages from any department at the UW. Rotaract is also open to non-students ages 18-30.

Students for Equal Health
Students for Equal Health is a student organization at the University of Washington founded to work toward equality in health and well-being of people around the world.

Student AIDS Action Network
Student AIDS Action Network, a non-profit student organization at UW, was started in 2003 by Tim Menza, a MD/PhD student, to increase awareness about the AIDS pandemic on campus. It is now a network of students fighting HIV/AIDS.

UW Student Public Health Association
SPHA is an official student group whose purpose is to integrate and unify students across the multiple graduate and undergraduate departments and programs at the UW School of Public Health and to create a consolidated voice to address student concerns as they arise.
