Students and Programs
The Department of Global Health brings together one of the strongest constellations of health sciences schools in the nation with all major health disciplines represented and all six schools (Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Social Work) ranked among the top 10 in the nation. In addition to the health sciences, the Department's highly interdisciplinary curriculum also draws on faculty and courses from across the University of Washington campus, including the natural and social sciences, and the arts and humanities.
The Department regularly hosts presentations from leaders in the field and helps students seek out practical experiences to complement in-class learning. Our graduate programs attract a diverse and experienced student body, which contributes to a robust learning environment.
