Welcome to the Division of Dermatology at the
University
of Washington
The mission of the Division of Dermatology is to provide outstanding patient care, train and mentor future leaders in dermatology, and advance dermatologic knowledge. We provide high quality patient care at multiple sites in the greater Seattle area, in conjunction with one of the nation's top dermatology residency and training programs.
University of Washington's Dermatology Division Head (DH*), Dr. John Olerud is stepping down as Division Head in Feb 2014. We will miss his remarkable ability to lead, his intellectual strength and his
unwavering commitment to the Division. Above that, we will miss his amazing grace and magnetism. Thankfully, however, Dr. Olerud will continue to
see patients and train medical students.

Anyone who knows Dr. Olerud, knows he will continue to be our
designated hitter.
