ANNUAL teaching AWARDS
The Dermatology Residents awarded the 2012 John E. Olerud Resident Teaching Award to Dr. Kyle Garton for his inspiring and dedicated teaching. Dr. Garton completed his dermatology residency at the University of Washington in 2008, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at Geisinger.
Dr. Kim Abson was selected to receive the Clinical Faculty Distinguished Teaching Award for her commitment to resident teaching in didactics and as an inpatient attending at the UW Medical Center.
Dr. Jonathan Olson received the first Resident Teacher of the Year award for the opportunities he found to teach and truly educate all learners in dermatology.
