Goodbye and Hello
to two exemplary residents
(Ope's family pictured above celebrating her graduation)
The Dermatology Division recently said goodbye to Onaopemipo Ofodile, MD, MHA. Dr. Ofodile completed her Dermatology Residency in June and has departed for Northern California to reunite her family. When Dr. Ofodile arrived in Seattle three years ago, her new husband Ike remained in New York in order to not disrupt his career. Dr. Ofodile, Ike, Isaac (3 years) and Andrew (4 months) are together at last. Dr. Ofodile just recently took her Dermatology Specialty boards and begins this summer as a dermatology physician with Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, CA.

The Dermatology Division also recently said goodbye to Chief Resident, Lauren Biesbroeck, MD. Fortunately for us, however, we now get to turn right around and say hello... We're thrilled to announce that Dr. Biesbroeck is joining the UW Dermatology Faculty. Dr. Biesbroeck arrived in Seattle three years ago from St. Louis and we are so very lucky she made the trip!
Dr. Biesbroeck recently took her Dermatology Specialty boards and begins with UW as a dermatology clinician/educator in September 2014. She will be providing patient care at UWMC Roosevelt Derm Center as well as Seattle Children's Hospital.
