Tales of Seven Kingdoms
A poster series representing fairy tales from seven different cultures around the world. One story per poster. Each country has a special significance to me, my cultural heritage, and personal interests. Each reflects social and historical significance in these cultures. The tales I chose are from America, India, Scandinavia, Whales, Russia, Germany, and Italy. My goal being to open the world of imagination and bring renewed interest to old stories that are not commonly told. Each poster was hand-drawn by me and then translated into the computer.
My posters promote productions for a children’s theater called Broadway Bound. The plays will be staggered throughout the year. The seventh poster is not pictured due to technical difficulties when displayed on the screen.
