Virus, Molecular Biology and Cell Core

Description

The Virus, Molecular Biology and Cell Core (VMBC) provide three main services:

Virus generation and production.
Quantitative real time RT-PCR, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) or microsatellite genotyping, cloning genes into plasmid vectors and carrying out sequencing reactions.
Access to tissue culture-related equipment, preparation culture medium, provision of cells and cell cultures from a central repository, perform organ cultures.

All cores provide training, education and assistance in project design.
