HSC How to Use

In order to use the services of this and other DRC Biomedical Cores, you must be a DRC Affiliate. Click join the DRC for more information.

All studies and analyses must have prior Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. A copy of the study protocol, the appropriate IRB approval and consent form must be provided to the Core. An additional form must be completed for access to the registry or the Japanese American Community Diabetes Study Repository.

For modeling analyses, datasets must not contain HIPAA identifiers. A list of HIPAA identifiers can be found here.

Any investigator who needs methodologic, statistical, and recruitment support including EMR and registry/repository accessis requested to contact the Core Director, Dr. Boyko, to discuss the proposal.

Investigators who need assistance with metabolic phenotyping services or modeling should contact the Core Associate Director, Dr. Kristina Utzschneider.

Core charges are based on time and services provided.
