  • I've created and placed two slide presentations on the web that may be of interest. The Causes and Risks of Population Growth discusses the factors leading to exponential human population growth in the twentieth century, and the associated social and environmental costs.

    The second presentation is entitled Native Vegetation Alternatives to Urban Turf, and discusses the economic and environmental costs of using turf and lawn, with a comparison to the use of native plants in urban settings.
