MRI Review
Dr. Dobyns reviews brain MRIs on a regular basis, and can often provide a definitive diagnosis and suggest appropriate genetic tests. Results of the MRI review are discussed with the referring physician. Please be aware that due to the large number of MRI scans we receive, a review may take up to 6 months or longer. To have your patient's brain MRI reviewed, please download our MRI Review Request (.pdf) and include it along with:
- A copy of the brain MRI (DICOM images) on CD
- Recent clinic notes from neurology, genetics, and other relevant providers
- Newborn records (brief summery is fine)
- Growth charts (especially head circumference values)
- Results from any genetic testing done
