  • Instructions
    • Wii View navigates with a Nintendo Wii Remote which we have integrated into SketchUp. The Wii Remote has some buttons, an accelerometer, and an infrared camera. Because all the navigating functions are on the Wii Remote, we don’t need to use another device when we using it.

    • Button A switches between “Orbit” and “Walk Through” mode. Orbit Mode rotates the viewpoint around the target of the view. Walk Through Mode rotates around the view. All rotations are controlled by turning the device itself, which I will describe later.

    • Button B, which is on the back of the Wii remote, can stop all rotation. If you want to stop rotation, please press this button.

    • These buttons can move the view forward and backward, as well as left and right.

    • These two buttons can increase or decrease the moving speed.

    • The home button can move the view toward the centre of model.

    • In Walk Through Mode, Tilt Up will let the view look upward, Tilt Down will let the view look downward, Turn Left will let the view turn left, Turn Right will let the view turn right.

    • In Orbit Mode, Tilt Up will let the viewpoint go down, Tilt Down will let the viewpoint go up, Turn Left can let the user see the left side of the target, Turn Right can let the user see the right side of the target.
