Campers discovered their learning and work styles at Learning Style Survey for College http://www.metamath.com/multiple/multiple_choice_questions.cgi.

All participants joined topica camp distribution list and sent one email message to the list courage2003@topica.com about what they did yesterday.

Campers explored the resources at DO-IT, http://www.washington.edu/doit/Resources/college_prep.html

They checked out Students with Disabilities Prepare for Postsecondary Education: Know your Rights and Responsibilities to help prepare for college. Then they watched the video College: You can DO-IT!

Afternoon

What makes kids succeed? Campers helped make lists on a flip chart of examples of internal and external factors that contribute to success.

Campers watched the video Taking Charge: Stories of Success and Self-Determination.

With staff, each camper completed a worksheet, Taking Charge! Self Determination and Success.
