Final Project

Your final project is to be completed after the workshop. You have until midnight April 31, 2011 to complete your project. Below is the assignment:

1. Conduct a web accessibility evaluation of three websites. Each website must be related to science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). For example, you could evaluate departmental websites for your academic college or deparment.
2. You can optionally substitute a non-STEM website, subject to approval by Terry.
3. If you have a hard time finding STEM-related websites, select a website from among our RDE Partners.
4. Conduct your evaluation using the Web Accessibility Review Template (WART).
5. For help on individual items, consult the Web Accessibility Checklist that we used in class.
6. When finished, send your three completed evaluations to Terry at tft@uw.edu.
7. Terry will review your evaluations, and will get back to you with feedback. You might be asked to redo some things prior to your project being complete.
