| The University of Washington is soliciting applications for postdoctoral fellowships in Biostatistics as part of an NIDCR-funded training program in Oral Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Appointments are for at least one year, and can be renewed for up to three years. | |
| Applicants of interest include
those with a Ph.D. or equivalent in biostatistics who would like to pursue a research
agenda in biostatistics applied to oral and craniofacial health issues. Opportunities exist to work on methodology and applications in the analysis of correlated and longitudinal data using, e.g., multivariate survival analysis, GEE and/or random effects models. Institutional resources include a strong graduate program in the Department of Biostatistics, an active research program in the home Department of Dental Public Health Sciences, and potential collaboration with dental and biostatistical researchers through the Biometry Core serving the NIDCR-funded Regional Clinical Dental Research Center and the Comprehensive Center for Oral Health Research. Fellowships pay a stipend which is dependent on the amount of postdoctoral experience. Eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, and a payback agreement may require subsequent work in research. Minority and women applicants are particularly of interest.
